Recently in the United Kingdom there have been concerns about tuition fee hikes among students. The conservative party has been in favor of raising tuition fees but do not have a majority in the House of Commons and cannot pass the proposal without help from another party. It appears as though the liberal democrats will be the party that sides with the conservatives to pass the tuition hike. This has angered many British students and has caused widespread riots throughout the country at various universities and also the demand for some liberal dems to resign from their post. The elevated violence has worried some citizens and it will be interesting to see how this situation plays out if the tuition hike is passed.
