Why should someone vote for Jill Stein?
One should vote for Jill Stein if they are a believer in a clean environment. Ms. Stein has proposed the creation of over 50,000 “green” jobs which she promises are sustainable and effective. She is a big believer in green environment. Stein also proposes a fairer income tax for the middle class and lower class. Stein also takes a firm stance on education. She believes that every public school in the state should receive sufficient funding and opposes charter schools. She also believes that MCAS testing is a waste time because standardized tests do not accurately gauge a student’s learning. She says by eliminating MCAS this would significantly lower school budgets. Lastly, she believes fees and tuitions at the Commonwealth’s public colleges and universities should be lowered.
Why shouldn’t someone vote for Jill Stein?
Ms. Stein is the green-rainbow party candidate. This means she is about 3 miles to the left of Deval Patrick. In the current condition that the state is in we cannot have someone running the state with ideologies like hers. Although she is very well educated (Harvard) she has virtually no experience in politics. Lastly, her main issues are about the environment. Although the environment is important there are much more important issues to solve at this time.What is your opinion?
Jill Stein has no chance in hell of winning this upcoming race. She is a left-wing nut job whose main issues are environmental. Although she brings up some interesting points in terms of her views on education, she is far too left for me to even think about voting for her.
